Turn-of-the-century farming on the Blackland Prairies of North Texas is captured in this historic site in Plano, 20 miles north of Dallas. The Heritage Farmstead Museum offers a four acre complex with row crops, gardens, a windmill, and a handsome 1891 Victorian farmhouse with 12 original outbuildings.
