Junior Historian Program
The Junior Historians of Texas
The Junior Historians of Texas is a state-wide extracurricular program that provides students with a unique opportunity to explore Texas and local history and gain leadership skills. Chapter 448, of the Junior Historians Club of Texas is open to middle and high school students.
Members will participate in monthly meetings, delve into historical research, and take part in hands-on activities that incorporate themes such as art, history, archaeology, architecture and more. The Junior Historians of Texas is a club associated with the National History Club and the Texas State Historical Association.
Junior Historians attend meetings in person at the Farmstead, September thru May, one evening a month. Throughout the year, Junior Historians will have opportunities for leadership positions, community service and fun in the heart of historic Plano.
