Lantern Light 2017

Enjoy this Holiday Experience –Kick off the holidays at Lantern Light 2017 and enjoy the joy of the Great Snowfall of Texas during America’s troubled depression era through a myriad of activities.

Stroll the 4 acres and amidst the glow of Lantern Light and delight in wagon rides, historic demonstrations, storytelling by the North 40 Story Tellers, scrumptious treats, unique children’s crafts, and a visit with Santa Claus.

Tour the Great Depression exhibit and holiday decor in the Farrell Wilson House.

Strolling Carolers and School Choirs are scheduled throughout the event in the Historic Pole Barn presenting songs of the season.

This year Lantern Light will feature a Snow Mountain for sledding along with winter fun in the meadow.

$2.00 per sled run (includes entrance to snow area)

$5.00 for 3 runs

$10.00 (Bracelet) for unlimited runs

Fun on the Farm: A Visit with Santa

Ho Ho Ho! Santa is visiting the Farmstead! Join us to hear a story, decorate cookies, ride in our wagon, and, most importantly, visit and get a picture with Santa!
