Springtime on the Farm

Join us for Springtime on the Farm! Enjoy a beautiful day on the farm with your family or small group.  

Activities include:

  • Wagon rides
  • Meet all the farm animals (goats, sheep, pigs, donkey, ducks, and guinea fowl)
  • Wash laundry the old-fashioned way
  • Feed the chickens
  • Learn how to milk a cow with Buttermilk, the magnificent mechanical cow
  • Plow the field
  • Storytimes at 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:15am, and 11:45am

Wilson House tour tickets available at Visitor Center for additional $5 per person. Tour recommended for ages 8 years and older. Limited number available.

Activities open from 10am-12pm. Farm open until 2pm. Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic on the farm!

Tickets:

  • Child (2-11 years) $10  
  • Children under 2 years old – reserve a ticket at no cost  
  • Adult (12 years and up) $5 

Museum Members (Family level or higher) receive one adult ticket FREE with purchase of one child’s ticket. Look for an email with your access code.

All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  

Purchase your online as events often sell out. If sold out, no tickets will be available the day of the event or at the door.

Parking

Visitors may park along Pitman Drive or in the lot on the southside of BT Furnishings. Do not park at Chase Bank. Violators may be towed. Please do not park in front of houses on Gardengrove Court. 

Weather and Cancellations

Events are held, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead.  Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained. 
 

If a program is cancelled due to severe weather, the decision will be made by 8:30am on the day of the program. An email will be sent to the address connected with your tickets. Refunds will be processed in these cases.
