The event features an egg hunt with thousands of prize-filled eggs for children ages 10 and under. Guests of all ages will delight in the joys of spring on the Blackland Prairie with the shearing of the Farmstead’s sheep and a variety of other family-friendly activities.
The event will also include historic live exhibits, mule drawn wagon rides, and photo ops with our farm animals. We will also have demonstrations such as sheep to shawl that highlights sheep shearing, wool and fiber processing, weaving, and much more! Donuts and popcorn available for purchase.
The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Egg Hunts are scheduled every 30 minutes starting at 9am and guest will purchase tickets based on your child’s age.
Ages 0-3: 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM
Ages 4-6: 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM
Ages 7- 10: 11:00 AM
All Ages: 11:30 AM
Tickets are first come, first serve and will sell out fast so make sure and reserve your spot early. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets.

Event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the event is cancelled by Heritage Farmstead Museum tickets will be refunded. Ticket holders must email sleigh@heritagefarmstead.org within 14 business days of the event to request a refund.
