Summer Field Trips

Plan the perfect summer field trip for your school, camp, or daycare at the Heritage Farmstead Museum.

Meet the animals, feed the chickens, and ride the wagon around the 4-acre historic farm. A self-guided handout is available for staff/chaperones to help guide your group. Grounds Guides available on-site to answer questions about buildings, animals or life on the historic farm. 

Available on Thursdays and Fridays in June, July, or August.

Pack your lunches and have a picnic. Wheeled coolers are recommended. Picnic tables are available first come, first serve. 

  • $5 per Children – maximum 25 children per field trip. Larger groups may split into two groups on different days.
  • $5 per Chaperone (1:10 Chaperone to student ratio required)
 Add-on options:
  • Wagon ride – $2 per student all grades
  • Wilson House Tours – additional $5 per student for 9 years old or older
