JUNIOR HISTORIANS

Junior Historians is a statewide extracurricular program affiliated with the National History Club and the Texas State Historical Association. It provides students with a unique opportunity to explore Texas and local history while developing leadership skills.

Chapter 448 of the Junior Historians Club of Texas is open to middle and high school students. Members meet in person at the Farmstead one evening each month from September through May.

Throughout the year, students participate in monthly meetings, historical research, and hands-on activities exploring topics such as art, history, archaeology, architecture, and more. They also have opportunities to take on leadership roles, complete community service projects, and enjoy engaging experiences in the heart of historic Plano.
