DESCRIPTION:Little Farmer Friday Turkeyriffic Good TimeApril 24\, 2026 10 am -12 pm 								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n				\n									Have you been to the farm and heard a new gobble or three? That’s our new turkeys: Bonnie\, Clyde and Alex. If you haven’t met them yet\, come out to the farm this Little Farmer Friday and have a gobble-wobble good time! Enjoy turkey themed crafts and activities\, milk Buttermilk the mechanical milking cow\, and take a ride on our tractor pulled wagon. Story\, Gobble Gobble Crash! A Barnyard Counting Bash by Julie Stiegemeyer.  10:30-12:00pm Wings & Talon experience with Blackland Prairie Raptor Center – Learn about native raptors that live on the Blackland Prairie. No live raptors present.  								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n			\n						\n		\n						\n				\n				\n				\n									Each Little Farmer Friday is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.  Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old\, our program offers families the opportunity to hear a story\, make a craft\, meet our animals\, enjoy a wagon ride\, and have fun on our 4-acre farm. \n  \nGates open at 10am. Activities 10am-12pm. Farm grounds close at 2pm. Bring a lunch or snack to enjoy on the farm. \n  \nTickets on sale now! \nGet your tickets early!  \nEvents often sell out. If the event is sold out\, no tickets will be available the day of the event or at the door.  \n  \nAll tickets are non-refundable. You may transfer one time to another Little Farmer Friday event that occurs before May 8\, 2026. Transfer must be completed within 14 days of the original event date.  \nTickets that are resold will not be honored.   \nThere are NO third-party sales on websites. Tickets are only available at the link below.  \n  \nMuseum Members (Family level or higher) receive one adult ticket FREE with purchase of one child’s ticket. Members will receive an email containing the access code.  \n  \nParking \nFree parking on Pitman Drive (east and west sides) and Gardengrove (north side). Overflow parking on east side of 1300 Custer (see map below).  \nDo not park in front of businesses or private residences as they may tow your vehicle.  \n  \n \n  \nWeather and Cancellations \nEvents are held\, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead.  Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained. Check the weather the day of the event to make sure you and your little ones are dressed comfortably for the outdoors.\n \nIf a program is cancelled due to severe weather\, the decision will be made by 8:30am on the day of the program.
