Join us as we celebrate Halloween on the Farmstead! Come in costume (no scary costumes) and bring a bag for trick of treating around the farm. Enjoy games, goodies, and activities including wagon rides and feeding the chickens. Story time will feature a preschool favorite, The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle. Head to the historic pole barn to make your own spider craft to take home. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a beautiful fall day on the farm!
Little Farmer Fridays is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups. Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to hear a story, make a craft, meet our livestock, enjoy a wagon ride, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.
Gates open at 10am. Activities available 10am-12pm. Farm grounds close at 2pm.
Child (2-11 years) $15
Toddler (13-23 months) $7
Infants (under 12 months) are free
Adult (12 years and up) $5
Museum Members get one adult ticket FREE with purchase of a child’s ticket. Look for your access code in the email will be sent to all Members the day tickets are available.
All tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred one time to another Little Farmer Fridays event by May 10, 2025. Email education@heritagefarmstead.org with your request. Unused tickets will be considered a donation to the farm.
Little Farmer Fridays often sell out. If the event is sold out, no tickets will be available the day of the event or at the door.
Parking
Visitors may park along Pitman Drive or in the lot on the southside of BT Furnishings. Do not park at Chase Bank or in front of private residences.
Weather and Cancellations
Events are held, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead. Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained. Check weather the day of the event to make sure you and your little ones are dressed comfortably for the outdoors.
If a program is cancelled due to severe weather, the decision will be made by 8am on the day of the program. Refunds will be processed in these cases.
